Orc Storms

Orcs are nomadic people, leading an itinerant lifestyle across the land, following or seeking prey to hunt and moving with the seasons to forage. They travel in large groups called storms because they travel the land in a cacophony of ruination, but move on as quickly as they came. Storms do not usually have a name, but rarely can be named for a leader, or even the herd they migrate with.

When multiple storms gather together, usually for war, it is called a tempest.

Before the Orcstrife when hundreds of ors gathered in dozens of tempests to storm across western Taluma, orcs were encountered only in their smaller storms and little was known of their culture. One notorious orc storm that was known as a named group is the Amphisbaena Storm. They hunt amphisbaenas, huge two-headed snakes. They use iconography of the two-headed snake (one head at each end) on flags, armor, tattoos and body paint.
