Background: Orc Gwyvenclaw
Prerequisite: Orc species
Orcs are known as exceptional hunters, but there are some who are renowned for taking this expertise to another level. Some orcs train to be monster hunters. They are known as Gwyvenclaws, after the Taluman divine mother-of-all-beasts Gwyven.
The demon blood running through their veins gives orcs insight into monsters and the monstrous, many of whom count Gwyven as an ancestor. They have knowledge of beasts and monsters and their ways, and they are aware of their surroundings and have all around well-trained senses. A large number of Gwyvenclaw orcs are rangers, exceptional hunters especially in the wilderness, but they can also come from barbarians and fighters who train to fight monsters, rogues who use stealth to stalk their prey, and even paladins who may devote themselves heart and soul to vanquishing evil monsters. Since many monsters are innately magical, a few Gwyvenclaws are spellcasters who use their magic to counter the unique abilities of the monstrous.
